Ch- Ch- Ch- Changes!

It has been a LONG time since I've written a blog post - a year and a half, to be exact. So first of all, a very warm welcome to all of you who are new here! (You're here because you've worked with me, requested information via my website, or entered a drawing at an event. You can always unsubscribe if what I share doesn't resonate, but I sure hope you choose to stick around!) And to all, thanks for sticking around!

Frank and I just got back from a 3-week trip to points west. We went to Iowa first to my all-school reunion - had a blast seeing old friends. Then spent a few days with my brother in NW IA - our last night there we were gifted with the most magical and longest lasting double rainbow I've ever seen. From there we drove to WA state to meet my sister and her family for the first time, along with my youngest daughter and her family. We were treated like royalty and had the BEST time! Stayed right on the water on Birch Bay and witnessed richly saturated sunsets, spent a day in Canada, spent a day with NC friends who had moved (back) to Friendly Harbor, saw an Orca whale in the Sound, and oh so much more. We put 6,000 miles on the car (and on our butts!) and arrived home 4 days ago thoroughly exhausted and completely happy.

Oh, and one more thing ... we've become great-grandparents! Veronica Sylvie Anderson was born on July 11, and even though I've not yet met her in person (that will be in October), I am completely in love!

And other than driving around the country and growing my family, what have I been up to? I've been designing classes, 3- and 6-month programs, a universal healing meditation, even a year-long certification program. Still seeing coaching & mentorship clients, still doing energy work and readings ... just also taking time to put into place what's been coming through for the past few months. There is soooo much going in the world and in our lives, and I'm creating ways to be with and rise above the chaos.

Radical Self-Care in Challenging Times
A 4-week class, Wednesdays starting August 13
7:00 pm ET, via Zoom

Much of our lives can feel uncertain, some days more so than others. But it’s safe to say that the days we currently find ourselves living through are the most challenging in a generation, if not longer.

The news of daily events bombards us like a firehose. We find ourselves disconnected from the ones we love, either through distance or belief. Our communications mostly consist of a few typed words via text or message board. We are preoccupied with social media, doom-scrolling in an effort to keep up with what’s going on around us. We feel lost, ungrounded, and unsure of what to do. All of this contributes to feelings of worry, anxiety, depression, anger, loneliness, grief.

But there are easy, simple ways to rise above these challenging emotions. In this class, we will explore and practice no-cost ways to regulate your nervous system, reset your day, release these uncomfortable and health-diminishing feelings, and replace them with peace, comfort, joy, even bliss.

Betz will lead participants in simple exercises such as self-energy healing techniques, breathwork, somatic movement, and Vagus nerve exercises that can be done at home on your own, as well as suggestions for activities that you can share with friends and family. Every participant will receive handouts and Powerpoint slides of the information shared in class, as well as downloadable audio meditations and exercises.

“Betz is a phenomenal teacher! Those of us who have had the privilege know she has insight, experience, compassion and understandings beyond many. And she’s great fun to be around too!
